This isn’t just a presentation — it’s an awakening.
What you’re about to witness isn’t just Black history —it’s the legacy of
a People, that helped to shape the soul of this nation in the face of
brutal opposition.
History has never been silent — it has always spoken through the footsteps of those who came before us. From chains to choice, from silence to song, we rise today because others dared to believe in a better tomorrow. Though some may try to dim the light of that truth, we remember. We carry forward a legacy of courage, sacrifice, and triumph. Each step we take honors those who carved paths through impossible odds — not just for themselves, but for all of us. This is our call, our moment — to rise with purpose, to build boldly, and to walk with pride in the footsteps of giants.
We honor those who were Stewards of this Great Land before the early settlers set foot here, All of the Tribes of the American
Indigenous Indians and acknowledge the brutal injustices that they to experienced.
This isn’t a story being told to you — it’s a truth you are choosing to experience.
And at its core is this reality: Our ancestors did not choose to leave their homeland — but they chose, with fierce determination,
to create and build their dreams in a land that never asked them to.
From that UN-chosen crossing arose a chosen identity — one that would become known to the world as
African American.
This project isn’t about blame — it’s about balance.
What was left out matters just as much as what was taught.
